Equipment Maintenance

Shear Testing
BOMCO CANSCO provides verification of shear capability, shear test, for any combination of ram-type preventer, shear bonnets, shear rams and test pipe configuration, with tests undertaken under strict controls at API standards.
Systems Integration Testing
To speed up on-site rig up times, whilst still providing the highest level of equipment integrity, BOMCO CANSCO pre-assemble complete drill through assemblies at its facilities and fit, function and pressure test the assemblies prior to dispatch to the field. Systems Integration testing (SIT) of drill through WCE and accessories can reduce commissioning times in the field by up to 75%.
WCE Package Design & Development
Making sure well activity programs have the right WCE for the job is essential.
Apart from expected well parameters that determine WCE pressure, temperature and service requirements, there are other physical conditions that influence final WCE package arrangement, e.g. rig substructure height, BOP handling system constraints, etc.
BOMCO CANSCO helps translate WCE specifications into practical and effective rig specific equipment packages.

Other on-site services include conversion of WCE from standard temperature to hi-temperature service, and shear bonnet reconfigurations. Portable operating, torque and pressure test equipment sets are available to reduce the reliance on rig systems and to maximize off-line work.
Rig Up and Rig Down
BOMCO CANSCO Field support technicians are available for initial on-site commissioning (installation, hook-up and testing) of WCE, and for de-commissioning of WCE from site.
In addition BOMCO CANSCO can provide interim (rig move) re-commissioning services. Portable operating torque and pressure test equipment sets are available to reduce the reliance on rig systems and to maximize off-line work.
Replacement Parts
BOMCO CANSCO carry an extensive range of Well control equipment (WCE) parts to support Customer owned BOMCO CANSCO WCE, and for internal. work-in-progress projects.
In addition, BOMCO CANSCO ’s approved suppliers maintain further inventories of WCE parts to ensure even the heaviest parts needs can be responded to effectively.
WCE Consumables
BOMCO CANSCO carries an extensive range of WCE consumables to support its own and its Customers BOP fleets. Controlled inventories of Annular Packing Elements, Ram Seals and Packers, Ring Gaskets and Studs, Nuts and Bolts allow efficient response to any consumable need, day or night. In addition, BOMCO CANSCO’s authorised distributers maintain further inventories of consumables to ensure the heaviest consumable need can be responded to effectively.

Training & Workshops
The industry’s first truly practical hands-on WCE Training Workshop
Well control is a safety critical aspect of every well site operation in the field. BOMCO•CANSCO Technologies is a provider of rental Well Control Equipment to the international oil and gas upstream industry and its operational facility has dedicated WCE training facilities providing hands-on WCE operation and maintenance training for well site personnel.
The training session combines a mix of presented material supported by a significant level of practical hands-on time with an actual operational WCE system set up combined with an extensive array of WCE training models.
Trainees get to operate real WCE systems, conduct closing and opening sequences, and touch and feel critical components of the system, such as ram elastomers, seals, and sealing faces.
Training sessions are tailored to suit the profile and needs of the trainees.
